Lossless PNG optimization
PicBrewery uses oxipng for PNG output — lossless DEFLATE recompression, palette quantization where applicable, and metadata stripping. Visual pixels do not change.
Screenshots and UI assets with flat colors often shrink 20–50%. Photographic PNGs (rare but possible) may see smaller gains because PNG is the wrong codec for photos.

Why is my PNG still large?
PNG is lossless — photographic content belongs in JPEG, WebP or AVIF. If you need smaller files and can accept lossy compression, check the WebP or AVIF columns.
