Each format behaves differently. Use the dedicated pages for long-tail searches and step-by-step instructions:

Does PicBrewery resize or crop images?
No. Compression means re-encoding the same pixel dimensions — not changing width or height.
Which format gives the smallest file?
For photos, AVIF is usually smallest, then WebP, then JPEG. For flat graphics with transparency, PNG or AVIF with alpha wins. PicBrewery shows all sizes side by side.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Processing runs entirely in WebAssembly inside your browser.
Can I compress many images at once?
Yes — up to 20 files per batch, 20 MB each.
What is the difference between compress and convert?
Saspiešana keeps the same format (or picks the smallest re-encode of that format). Convert changes format — e.g. JPG to WebP. PicBrewery produces all outputs in one pass so you can compare.
